shipping including charterparty and bills of lading disputes, casualty
work involving collisions, general average and salvage, ship repairers

On the non-contentious side, we act for owners,
shipyards and financial institutions on transactions in relation
to financial documentation registration of vessels, sale and purchase
documentation and documents in relation to the construction of new
buildings and related advisory work. Sale and purchase covers acting
for the buyers, sellers and brokers in the purchase of cruise ships,
tankers and cargo vessels, drafting and negotiating sale and purchase
agreements including Lease and Buy Back Lease Agreements and Bareboat
Charter parties. On the registration side, not only does the team
act for buyers in the registration of ships in Singapore but through
our international network of foreign lawyers we are able to advise
and assist clients in the registration of vessels in other jurisdictions.
