About Audrey
Audrey ranked in the top 10% of her
class in the post-graduate PLC (Singapore Bar) exams.
She started out in practice at one of the largest local
law firms in Singapore, where she handled such diverse
transactions as the transfer of undertaking of mortgages
from a US regional bank to its national headquarters
in New York, the sale of strata units in a warehouse
complex and the drafting of Agreements to Lease for
a new office cum shopping complex whilst under construction.
Her current practice, whilst retaining a property focus,
is also tailored to the very specific requirements of
her diverse clientele, and she has advised clients on
issues ranging from the setting up of offshore trust
vehicles to the purchase of a minority stake in a foreign
bank. Her practice is not confined to Singapore shores,
and is very much dictated by the business interests
of her clients. She has advised, and acted as instructing
counsel, where necessary, for commercial transactions
undertaken by her clients in jurisdictions such as Australia,
Dubai, Hong Kong (SAR), Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand,
Vietnam and the rest of the Asia-Pacific region.
She is admitted in Singapore as well as England & Wales.

purchase of a penthouse unit on the top-floor (54th)
of the iconic The Orchard Residences, in Singapore,
at a record-breaking price exceeding S$5,000.00

of a Structured Notes contract issued by Nomura
Bank in a complex cross-border transaction carried
out on Euroclear. |

Advising a listed company in respect of its bond
financing options for a greenfield power plant project
in Vietnam. |

Advising a private client in its proposed acquisition
of a substantial commodity-based asset in Indonesia
of a value surpassing S$700 million. |

Advising the co-joint venture partner in its successful
S$1.38 billion bid for the landmark Orchard Turn
site in Singapore. |

Acting for a private investor in its acquisition
of a minority stake in a listed Sri Lankan Bank
via the incorporation of an offshore vehicle. |

Acting for a listed Korean conglomerate, a giant
in the electronics industry, in the refinancing
of their mortgage debt of value exceeding S$16 million.

Advising owners of 30 landed properties in a successful
class action for damages against the developer,
in respect of defects therein. |

Acting for a foreign developer in the sale and
lease of their strata titled offices and lease of
their retail and food and beverage space in a massive
development comprising 5 office towers, a shopping
complex and convention centre; and its subsequent
securitization and spin-off as a REIT of a value
exceeding S$2.1 billion. |

Advising a listed Hong Kong developer in its tender
bid for the new Business & Financial Centre
(BFC) site in Marina Bay, Singapore. |
Audrey is also a multiple prize-winning
poet, whose works have been published in two anthologies
by a US publisher. She was nominated for inclusion in
"The International Who's Who in Poetry" in 2005. She
enjoys boating, jet skiing, racquet sports, and is an
avid Liverpool FC fan.
