About Kenneth
Kenneth graduated from The University of Manchester in 2004 with a Second Class Upper in the LL.B. (Hons) programme. Subsequently, he undertook the Bar Vocational Course and was Called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn in 2005.
Kenneth then proceeded to read in the Chambers of one of Malaysia’s oldest and largest law firms. Upon being admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2006, Kenneth was engaged with the same firm as a practitioner in the Banking & Finance Litigation Department, where he was exposed to a wide range of banking and commercial disputes involving a diversity of subject matters such as shares trading and share margin financing, syndicated loans, recovery of outstanding facilities, including various trade facilities, and realization of security including land and share charges and debentures. During the tenure at his previous firm, Kenneth also assisted in matters involving litigation and advisory work concerning Islamic banking as well as matters involving the Malaysian national asset management company. His responsibilities included perusing loan and security documents, rendering advice and opinions on legal issues, drafting cause papers/written submissions and conducting contentious hearings.
Kenneth joined Robert Wang & Woo LLC in January 2009. His current practice centres around arbitration and dispute resolution. In representing our Malaysia desk, he is responsible for advisory and contentious matters involving Malaysian laws. He also assists in a range of family and probate matters.
