Our Admiralty & International Trade Practice is led by a team of lawyers with expertise in insurance law and international trade. We represent shipowners, Charterers, P&I Clubs, Ship Brokers, Cargo Interest and Suppliers and our main Practice Areas include admiralty, charter parties, marine insurance, ship finance and international trade.
Our Admiralty & International Trade Practice has experience in advising and assisting clients on all aspects of dispute resolution involving charter party and bills of lading disputes, casualty work involving collisions, general average and salvage, ship repairer’s claims, crew claims, ship chandler’s claims, disputes on ownership, marine insurance, reinsurance, maritime liens, enforcement of ship mortgages and ship arrest.
We also act for owners, shipyards and financial institutions on transactions in relation to financial documentation, registration of vessels in Singapore and elsewhere, sale and purchase documentation and documents in relation to the construction of new buildings and related advisory work. In respect of sale and purchase documentation, we act for buyers, sellers and brokers in the purchase of cruise ships, tankers and cargo vessels. We also draft and negotiate sale and purchase agreements such as Lease and Buy Back Lease Agreements and Bareboat Charter parties.
