Alwyn Kok
Alwyn is the Head of Litigation & Dispute Resolution. He delights in helping clients avoid and resolve disputes.
Alwyn’s practice comprises complex high-stakes multi-jurisdictional commercial litigation and arbitration. He acts as lead counsel at all levels of the Singapore Courts (including Singapore International Commercial Court) and in arbitrations conducted under the major arbitral rules. Alwyn has acted for a wide range of clientele, including multinational corporations, financial institutions, corporate advisory firms, SMEs and high net-worth individuals.
Alwyn graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2015. He was called to the Singapore Bar in 2016, and elected as a Member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators in 2019.
During his undergraduate years at NUS, Alwyn received prizes in criminal law and international investment law, as well as several scholarships. He was also part of the NUS team that reached the final of the Copenhagen Competition 2014, an international negotiation competition.
Alwyn believes in giving back to the community and has been a volunteer lawyer at the Jurong East-Bukit Batok GRC Meet-the-People Session Legal Clinic since 2016.
